Making of the Palm Crosses
Saturday, 4/12 @ 10 AM
Join us at 10 am on April 12 for the making of Palm Crosses, a cherished tradition in preparation for the upcoming Holy Week. Participants of all ages are welcome to engage in this hands-on activity, where we will craft crosses from palm fronds. We will also be stuffing Easter Eggs and making a Holy Week devotion for your home. Materials will be provided.
Palm Sunday
Sunday services: 4/13 @ 8 AM and 10 AM, followed by Stations of the Cross at 5 PM
Join us this Palm Sunday for our worship services at 8 AM and 10 AM, where we will gather to celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. Both services will feature the procession of palms, uplifting hymns, and a message of hope and reflection as we begin Holy Week. (At 10 AM, the children will start the processional entry and then go to their Godly Play classes.)
Later in the day, we invite you to our 5 PM Stations of the Cross, a solemn journey that commemorates the events of Christ’s Passion. This reflective service provides an opportunity for prayer and contemplation as we remember the sacrifice of Jesus. **Student Ministry will participate in the Stations of the Cross on 4/13 instead of the usual “Sunday Night Live”

Experience the profound journey of the Stations of the Cross at Church of the Apostles. This meaningful practice will be available on our property throughout the week, allowing individuals to reflect and meditate at their own pace.
Guided options will also be offered on Palm Sunday, April 13 at 5 PM, and Good Friday, April 18 at 6 PM. (On Good Friday 4/18, a children's group will be available to include families in this sacred tradition.) Join us as we walk together in faith and contemplation.
Wednesday Noon Eucharist

Join us on April 16 our Wednesday Noon Eucharist service, a midweek opportunity for prayer and reflection.
Maundy Thursday
Thursday, 4/17 @ 12 PM and 6 PM
NOON: At 12:00 PM, we will hold a Holy Eucharist with a solemn foot washing ceremony, reflecting on Jesus' act of humility and service.
6:00 PM: In the evening, participate in Holy Eucharist and the poignant Stripping of the Altar, symbolizing the abandonment of Jesus in the hour of His trial. Children's Godly Play will be available during the evening service, providing a thoughtful space for our younger congregation members. We invite you to take part in these meaningful observances as we prepare for Good Friday and Easter Sunday. (Nursery is also available during this service for infants - 2 yrs.)
Good Friday
Friday, 4/18 @ 12 PM and 6 PM
NOON: We will have a Good Friday Liturgy that invites contemplation and prayer.
6 PM: We will offer a guided Stations of the Cross. This service will include an adult group experience, as well as a Godly Play children's group led by Ruth Seawell, fostering understanding of this sacred day for all ages. (Nursery is also available during this service for infants - 2 yrs.)
Easter Sunday
Sunday, 4/20 • Holy Eucharist @ 6:15 AM, 8 AM and 10 AM
Women at the Tomb - 6 AM: Ruth Seawell will be leading women in a special blessing of the church with Holy Water. We will meet at the Rocks in front of The Commons.
Holy Eucharist Services - 6:15 AM, 8 AM, 10 AM: Join us as we celebrate the resurrection on Easter Sunday, April 20th. We will hold a Sunrise Holy Eucharist on the Pavilion at 6:15 AM, followed by Holy Eucharist in the Sanctuary 8 AM and 10 AM. Please note: Nursery (infant to 2 years) will be available during the 10 AM service, older children will attend the service with their families.
Children’s Activities
Digging up the Alleluia Banner - 9:30 AM: We will dig up the Alleluia Banner, which we buried on Ash Wednesday, and release “resurrection butterflies” as a symbol and celebration of Christ’s resurrection. Everyone invited but especially children.
Children’s Flower Cross: Please bring flowers to adorn our children’s cross before the 8 and 10 AM services. Everyone is welcome to join this activity.
Easter Egg Hunt: Immediately after the 10 service, we will have an Easter Egg Hunt for nursery through 4th grade. Students in grades 5th and older are invited to hide the eggs with their Godly Play mentors after 8 AM Sunday morning.
